Wolf Windows is a family owned and operated business in the rolling hills of Wisconsin. The Wolf family lived two hours north in Medford, WI where Clinton worked as a machinist, making machines for the vinyl window industry. After years of building the machines he decided he would like to start building the windows rather than the machines! Before leaving the machine shop, he built the machines for his own window shop. The business started very small (a building 30' x 24'), with Corinne as secretary, Clinton as salesman & installation crew, and Karen helping to build & install the windows . Cainan and Keturah where very young but they pitched in where they could. Within two years (extending the manufacturing area) they added onto the shop and hired install help. Cainan is now the install crew leader and Keturah works in the office full time. Wolf Windows is now building a 1,500+ windows a year, installing over a 1,000 windows, and a few hundred doors. We have expanded our product line to include crank-out windows along with the standard double hung, slider, and picture windows. We make octagon, trapezoid, triangle, windows with off-set sashes, & combo units. Clinton enjoys the challenge of making the "impossible" window such as the trapezoid that operates & the vertical 3-light double hung.
Clinton is owner and manager of the business. He grew up in the construction trade, working with his Dad & Brother. He loves to design and invent. He made some of the machines in our shop to make the windows. He will be the one to come out and measure up your windows and give you an estimate. He makes the unusual shaped windows (octagon, trapaziods, parallelograms), fixes broken machinery, re-designs new machinery, solves problems.
Corinne is the Wolf Windows secretary. She will likely answer the phone when you call, sometimes come out to look at the windows in your house with her husband, Clinton, take orders over the phone, make cut list once we have the order, make out invoices, and pay bills.
Karen spends her winters teaching school for eleven children in the mountains of Haiti. She comes home for a couple of our busiest month to help out in the shop. To learn more about the New Horizons Haiti Children’s Home where she teaches, go to http://www.newhorizonshaiti.org/ Life In Haiti...
